Thanks to an amazing initiative by Transport for London (TfL), we are featured in this year’s Pride campaign alongside other organisations, changemakers. The campaign gave us a great opportunity to reach more people and emphasise the work we do to improve cancer care experiences for our community.
We were treated to an afternoon photoshoot under the British summer sun that allowed us to bring together our community of patients, carers, and staff – a symbol of the core that defines OUTpatients.
Filled with laughter and smiles, the campaign demonstrates how we find solidarity in community. By meeting service users like themselves, Lisa and Louise felt represented and connected to others who shared not only their identities but also had similar journeys with cancer.
Our posters have been put up across the TfL network to coincide with London Pride, from underground stations in Victoria and Vauxhall, to Hackney Wick, Poplar, and Kingsbury. If you see one on display, take a photo and tag us on social media!
We are grateful to Transport for London for giving us the opportunity to share our mission and celebrate the people we support. If you have a campaign that you would like OUTpatients to be part of, head over to our Contact page and let us know!
Happy Pride To All!
