Location: In-person.

What you will be doing 

As a Peer Services Outreach and Representation volunteer your tasks could include:

• Flyering in your local area. 
• Assisting at in person events, such as prides, stalls at events, etc. 

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

Speaking English; Local travel.  

Bonus Skills

Connection to local community spaces (LGBTIQ+ and cancer/health especially). 

LGBTIQ+/Cancer lived experience

It is not essential to be LGBTIQ+ or have lived experience of cancer in order to do this role, however allyship and compassion for these experiences is essential. 

Frequency 

Ad-hoc. 

Training offered

Volunteer Onboarding (if not already completed); Introduction to OP’s Peer Support (if not already completed); Solo working policy; Flyering SOP.
